Protection in any driving position
The suspension and damping systems on the cab ensure that shocks and vibrations are absorbed – not only when driving, but also when opening the cab or changing loads. Proper spring and damper tuning prevents excessive movement and improves the driving experience under all conditions.
Precise components for long-lasting function
In our range you will find components such as dampers for cab mounts, springs, bump stops, spacer sleeves and mounts listed Fahrzeugbedarf Webshop+1. To ensure that everything works together harmoniously, dimensions, load values and connections must fit exactly – every part contributes to the stability and durability of the system.

What should you look out for when buying:
Ergonomics and health in continuous truck operation
In heavy-duty transport, the cab suspension is far more than just a comfort feature; it is a decisive factor for driving safety and the health of the driver. Truck drivers often spend many hours a day behind the wheel and are constantly exposed to strong vibrations and shocks transmitted from the road and the driveline. A high-quality and properly functioning cab suspension and damping system, often realized by air springs and shock absorbers, effectively isolates the cab from the chassis. This reduces the strain on the spine and minimizes fatigue, which contributes directly to road safety.
Complex design and tuning
The cabs of modern trucks (especially long-haul cabs with sleeper cabs) are large, heavy structures whose suspension is a complex task. The damping must effectively suppress not only vertical movements, but also rolling movements (roll tendency) and pitching movements (pitching when braking). This requires precise tuning of air bags, shock absorbers and stabilizers. Hydraulic or mechanical tilt cylinders as well as robust bearings and bump stops are also often required in order to safely tilt the cab for maintenance purposes and then precisely secure it in its stable driving position again.
Load capacity and maintenance requirements
The components of the cab suspension are permanently exposed to high mechanical and weather-related loads. A defective cab damper or a leaking air bag quickly leads to uncontrolled swinging of the cab, which massively impairs the driver’s concentration and increases wear on other components. It is therefore essential that the dampers, springs and mountings are of original equipment (OE) quality when replacing them. Only components with the correct damping characteristics and the required robustness guarantee the longevity of the system and ensure the fleet that the trucks meet the ergonomic requirements of a modern workplace even in tough continuous use.
