Guidance with precision
A control arm (often also called wishbone, axle strut or steering strut) connects the wheel carrier and body or axle beam and transmits forces from driving maneuvers, braking, bumps in the road and lateral forces. Control arms guide the wheel in the wheel guide and ensure that steering movements are transmitted in a controlled manner.
Material and connection
For a handlebar to function reliably, the geometry, stiffness and connection points must be right. Good handlebars are designed in such a way that they transmit forces on the one hand and dampen vibrations on the other – often using bearings or rubber bushings. The dimensional accuracy of holes, length and screw points is crucial to ensure that the chassis remains correctly aligned.
