Important interface
The shock absorber or strut mount forms the interface between the shock absorber and the body. It absorbs forces, transmits movements and ensures that the shock absorber remains stable – even when the steering radius changes, the road is uneven or there are major load changes.
Precise design
A correctly dimensioned bearing must exactly match the damper axle in terms of inner diameter, width and mounting contour. Only then will the bearing body sit without play, transmit forces evenly and ensure smooth damper movement over the entire service life.
