From the Bergische Achsenfabrik to the global group
BPW stands for Bergische Patentachsenfabrik – founded in 1898 in Wiehl, Germany. What began as a regional axle manufacturer is now an international group of companies with production sites on several continents and a product range that goes far beyond the classic axle. Axle systems At the heart of the BPW portfolio are the axle systems for trailers and semi-trailers. Air suspension The BPW air suspension systems protect both the load and the road. They automatically adjust the spring stiffness to the load, reduce vibrations and noticeably extend the service life of the vehicle and load.
Lift axle systems BPW lift axles offer an efficient solution for vehicles that are not always fully loaded: unused axles are lifted, tire wear and fuel consumption are significantly reduced.
